The developer of the project, which was approved by the city in 2019, is Amoroso Development Companies. According to planning documents, the owner of the project site is joint venture involving Westlake Gateway Properties LLC and 1060 La Cienega Investors LLC, two companies registered in state business filings to the Calabasas address of Amoroso Companies.

Located at 1056 – 1066 S. La Cienega Blvd., the project site had held a one-story, 6,200-square-foot commercial building, but demolition permits for the site were issued last year, according to city building records.

Approved plans call for 40 studios, 52 one-bedrooms, and 22 two-bedroom units over above-grade parking and two underground levels of parking totaling 130 spaces for the project. Per Tier-3 project approvals under the city’s Transit Oriented Communities Incentive Program, the developer will set aside 12 units for extremely low-income households.

Amenities will include a first-floor gym, second-floor courtyard, two sixth-floor courtyards, and a recreation room.

The architect for the project is KFA, while Burns & Bouchard is the project representative.
