The project is being led by Daylight Community Development, Decro Corporation, Angelino Supportive Housing Partners, and The People Concern. It will provide six studios and 42 one-bedrooms.

Designed by Studio One Eleven, the community will target individuals in households earning between 30 percent and 50 percent of area median income, a California Tax Credit Allocation Committee report shows. AMI in Los Angeles County is $56,000 for a one-person household, according to the state’s Department of Housing and Community Development.

Named Vanowen Apartments, the project will specifically serve homeless individuals and transition-aged youth, according to Daylight’s website.

Built through modular construction, the development will feature amenities including a learning center, courtyard, and conference room, and it will also hold case management offices, bicycle storage, and other features, Decro’s website shows.

Daylight, Decro, and The People Concern are also involved in a 25-unit project underway in Watts.
