Led by Miami-based developer Crescent Heights, plans call for a 61-story tower above a nine-level podium to replace five single-story commercial buildings at 1033 – 1057 S. Olive St.

The new project will hold 112 studios, 402 one-bedrooms, 240 two-bedrooms, and 40 three-bedrooms. It will provide 891 automobile parking spaces across eight podium levels and six underground levels.

The project will also include about 12,500 square feet of restaurant space along the ground and mezzanine levels, as well as 886 bicycle spaces.

Plans also call for a ground-floor public plaza and various residential open spaces, such as a pool and fitness center.

New York-based architecture firm ODA is leading designs for the building, which were first submitted in 2017.
