The new Amazon Fresh store in Fontana, California will open to the public on Thursday, September 12, 2024. The Fontana location is the first Amazon Fresh store in San Bernardino County. This new, affordable grocery store in the community will offer a wide selection of quality groceries and a convenient shopping experience. They are proud to support the community by creating dozens of jobs in the Inland Empire and by donating surplus food from the Amazon Fresh store to Feeding America Riverside San Bernardino.

The new Amazon Fresh store in Fontana will feature the company’s latest brick-and-mortar design unveiled last year in select Chicago and Southern California stores. Customers can expect to find a wide selection of national brands, high-quality produce and protein, as well as Amazon’s private label brands like Aplenty, Amazon Fresh, and 365 by Whole Foods Market—all at great low prices.

Amazon already has a large online grocery business and millions of products available for fast delivery, but they want to serve as many grocery needs and to offer customers a great selection, value, and convenience—not just online, but in physical stores too. They remain committed to groceries, and will selectively open new Amazon Fresh stores as they receive positive customer feedback on the new format, as well as continue to open new Whole Foods Market stores.

Amazon Fresh has a wide assortment of national brands and high-quality produce, meat and seafood, as well as a range of delicious prepared foods made fresh in store every day — with great deals on Atlantic salmon, seedless grapes, organic honey crisp apples, and more. The store will offer destinations for everything you need to entertain including a dedicated department offering a wide selection of crackers, cheeses, and charcuterie from local and national brands, and a wide selection of international flavors with condiments and sauces from around the world. Customers will also find grab & go sandwiches, salads, wraps, and snack boxes to pick up for those busy weekends filled with family activities, or stop in after work to grab take-and-bake pizzas, ready-to-heat burritos, and ready-made meals to simplify dinner plans. Customers will find more than 500 regional brands and favorites at the Fontana Amazon Fresh store including Caulipower, McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams, and Rockenwagner Bakery. All customers who shop Amazon Fresh Fontana will find great deals that rotate weekly on grocery items across the aisles both in-store and online – every day. Prime members have exclusive access to Prime Savings, which offers 10% off on hundreds of additional grocery items across the aisles.
