The new restaurant is the latest from Alex Wilmot of Gigi’s, Michael Kassar, the owner of Wexler’s Deli and Organic Oren, and Kristin Olszewski, the founder of Nomadica, first reported by Eater Los Angeles. Bar di Bello is one of three restaurants RYDA, a Los Angeles-based real estate development firm, will introduce as part of its mixed-use Sunset Row complex. Other developing restaurants include Xibei by Chef Meng Defei and a second location for Loquat Coffee.

While Xibei is expected to open around the beginning of the year, Bar di Bello and Loquat Coffee will open in Spring 2025. BAR di Bello will be the area’s go-to destination for an upscale Italian experience featuring authentic dishes and beverages. These three new restaurants will join several other retailers, such as New Balance, Golden Age, Sunspel, Baggu, Malin + Goetz, and more. More restaurants and retailers are expected to be announced in the coming months.

“BAR di Bello brings a slice of New York City’s vibrant dining culture to Los Angeles, offering an upscale Italian experience,” according to the Sunset Row website. “By day, it’s a neighborhood spot; by night, a sought-after destination. The Bar di Bello menu features authentic Italian dishes, including salads, antipasti, pasta, meats, fish, and veggies. Anchored by a house-made antipasto bar and an Italian-inspired beverage program, Bar di Bello promises a breezy daytime atmosphere and a cozy, intimate dinner setting.”
