Owner Edgar Preciado tells What Now Los Angeles he is planning to open an alternating brewery proprietorship with Border X Brewing, which is leasing the company space within its facility. Preciado is currently raising funds to make the project happen, but he says the company should be ready to open sometime in the Summer of 2022. He and his wife/co-founder Maria Preciado hopes to get into the beer industry to increase the lack of representation of people of color.

When their portion of the brewery is fully operational, guests can expect some of the company’s favorite beers, such as Death Row IPA, Nuestra Ciudad, Para mi gente, and more. Beer Thug Brewing Company will also release new beers collaborating with other breweries and brands. As for snacks, Border X, owned by David Favela, already has a great selection of food vendors that serve food daily.

I think it’s safe to say that David and I are very excited about this endeavor of having two great breweries under one roof,” Preciado tells What Now Los Angeles. “Border X Brewing already has established a big fan base and is making great beers with BeerThug brewing. In the building, there is a potential to make Bell the hottest craft beer destination in LA.”
