Having been a resident of Beverly Hills for most of his life, Matthew identified a need for a welcoming, friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant. Opening Beverly Bar has always been his dream. With his background in Real Estate Development, he has a talent for designing and building visually stunning spaces, so when it came to building out a space as beautiful as Beverly Bar, it was like second nature to him.

During the covid lockdowns, the duo spent countless hours researching and cooking recipes together. After two long years of hard work and learning what it takes to open a restaurant, they were finally able to make his dream a reality.

Beverly Bar, located on Camden Drive, opened its doors this month as an inviting upscale cocktail bar that gives off the spirit of old Hollywood while being a comfortable neighborhood bar and eatery. “It was important to us to create a highly shareable menu showcasing a combination of elevated bar food, California small plates, and a regularly rotating list of seasonal dishes,” says Chef Timothy Brice in a statement. Aside from food, they also offer a list of cocktails, including the Modern Gentleman, a twist on a classic Manhattan, and the Green with Envy, a fruity concoction of gin, kiwi, and melon.

Catering to a wide range of patrons from locals to tourists within the Beverly Hills community, Beverly Bar leverages the unique experience of their team to create not just a chef-driven menu but a complete dining experience that cannot be found anywhere else. “Locals are always seeking a great dining experience. We were able to finetune and perfect the upscale bar experience Beverly Hills so desperately needed,” says Matthew Raanan.

Now known for their Fried Chicken Sandwich and Beverly Burger, you can find other menu choices such as Roasted Bone Marrow, Wagyu Pizza with Hot Honey, and Beef Tallow Fries topped with Truffle.

Beverly Bar is located at 434 N Camden Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 and is open Monday 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday – Saturday 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM and closed on Sundays.
