Blaze Pizza Working Toward Summer Opening in Encino Courtyard

In the process of updating its liquor license with the city, LA’s newest Blaze Pizza hopes to open in the next four to five months.

Franchisee Ben Salehi admitted it felt good to get to this point and estimated the total build-out cost somewhere around $700,000 to $800,000 for the new restaurant.

Blaze Pizza offers a variety of customizable pizza and garlic bread options and has locations in nearly every state across the country. With two other locations in the Los Angeles-area, Encino Courtyard will give the franchise a great place to grow.

With over 440,000 people in a five-mile radius, the community center anchored by Target, Planet Fitness and Shake Shack should land plenty of foot traffic.

Salehi said that while some of the current retail tenants have opened in the square already, he expected all of the new names to be up and running by the end of the summer.

With The Kebab Shop, Pressed Juicery and Shake Shack on the same row the soon-to-open 2,094 square foot pizza restaurant will be located at 17401 W. Ventura Blvd. A36.
