The Shops at Symmetry, a 21,273-square-foot retail center adjacent to the Symmetry apartment complex in Northridge, is filling out its tenant spaces ahead of a spring 2020 opening.
Burger Lounge, Panini Kabob Grill, and The Joint Chiropractic are the latest businesses to secure space in the Shea Properties development.
Burger Lounge, a quick-service grass-fed burger joint, will open in a 2,436-square-foot corner space with a patio and seeks to operate daily from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m., according to a Conditional Use Beverage (CUB) permit filed with the City of Los Angeles Wednesday.
The Joint Chiropractic will open adjacent to the burger joint and Panini Kabob Grill will be housed in a freestanding building, as indicated by the center’s latest site plan.
“We are working to bring in a unique lineup of restaurants, retailers and services that the Northridge community will not only find convenient but also complement the established market,” Kiril McKee, senior vice president of retail leasing at developer Shea Properties, said in a statement earlier this year.
“The diverse selection will offer something for everyone.”
News of the new tenants arrives on the heels of previously-secured leases in The Shops at Symmetry by California Fish Grill and Drnk/Qwench.
Plans also call for “Urban Dentist” to open in the center leaving six tenant spaces, two of which will be reserved for restaurants, two for retail, and one for which a Letter of Intent (LOI) has been submitted.
The Shops at Symmetry, location across from Northridge Fashion Center, at 19535 W. Nordhoff Street, is part of a larger mixed-used from Shea Properties that include Symmetry, a 431-unit apartment opening before the end of 2019, and 166 attached homes.
