Nashville hot chicken specialist Burnin’ Mouth is adding new locations in Irvine, Ontario, and Valencia.

The first of the three to open will be Irvine, coming to the Irvine Spectrum Center at 59 Fortune Drive Suite 338 sometime this month. The company, led by president Daniel Hwang, recently applied for a liquor license for the location, suggesting the company is getting closer to opening. The Ontario and Valencia locations are unknown but are confirmed within the pipeline. Burnin’ Mouth is also planning to open locations in Chicago, Boise, Milpitas, Orlando, and Serremonte.

This is an impressive accomplishment for Hwang, who is also the president of Devil & Angel Desserts. The company opened its first location in Oxnard in January 2021, with locations already in Fort Worth, Brea, and Glendale. At the rate the company is expanding, it’s very likely this is not the last of new Burnin’ Mouth locations.

When these new locations open, customers can expect a simple menu that finds its variety through its spice levels. The menu features a spicy chicken sandwich called coo coo, a three-piece chicken strip option, a six-piece chicken wing option, and a regular chicken sandwich named the bang bang. Customers can order these as a meal or as a side, along with Texas toast, coleslaw, french fries, or bang bang fries with coleslaw, pickles, nacho cheese, fried onion, ranch, garlic soy sauce, and seasoning. The restaurant offers five heat levels, with the spiciness being “insane.”
