DTC furniture company heads West, continuing brick-and-mortar expansion

Burrow, the direct-to-consumer furniture and brand, announced its new Los Angeles store location – expanding its retail footprint and bringing its omnichannel shopping experience to its first permanent location on the West Coast. The new store, located at 145 South La Brea Ave, is the third of 10 new showrooms Burrow plans to open in the next two years.

Burrow House Los Angeles, which opened by appointment only on September 28th, is centrally located and easily accessible from both the East and West sides of the city. Like its brick-and-mortar predecessors in New York City, Boston, and Atlanta – the Los Angeles showroom brings the DTC champion’s brand to life and provides customers the opportunity to interact with its design-forward products; as well as take advantage of complimentary space planning and design services from its furniture experts.

“We take our time to find the absolute right locations across the U.S. for our showrooms,” said Kelley Hicks, CFO at Burrow in a statement. “We always knew we wanted to expand to the West Coast, and once we found a place in the perfect accessible and desirable shopping district for our customers, we were ready to plant our roots in California.”

To tailor the assortment to regional design trends, Burrow leaned into contemporary California offerings – like its light, bright oatmeal and ivory fabrics with light wood finishes. The showroom also features vignettes where customers can browse between its modular seating collections – like its Nomad Range, and Field sofas – and shop its easy-to-hang Index Wall Shelves, Bedroom Collection, plus newest releases including its Pica and Lodge Accent Chairs.
