The company’s 19th location in Los Angeles County will move into the former home of Niko Niko Sushi later this year. The new California Fish Grill will sit in the Westridge Plaza Shopping Mall, surrounded by other eateries such as Panda Express, Blaze Pizza, Yogurtland, and One Hawaiian BBQ. The company is also opening a new location in Whittier in Summer 2022, as well as another location coming to East Hollywood. The new La Habra location will feature a large outdoor patio.

When the new location opens, customers can expect responsibly-sourced seafood. The company has two methods of sourcing its seafood, either wild-caught or farm-raised. Their wild-caught is found on the Pacific Coast, Atlantic Ocean, Alaska, and Peru and includes ahi tuna, rockfish, sockeye salmon, clams, and calamari. The farm-raised are caught in a pond or through a marine net pen and include Atlantic salmon, Louisiana delta catfish, tilapia, shrimp, sea bass, and swai.

“Our wild-caught fish are harvested through the least invasive means possible, to ensure the ecosystem is preserved and to avoid catching unwanted species,” according to the company’s website. “We insist on methods that limit untargeted bycatch. For our wide range of farm-raised seafood, we commit to working with certified-sustainable fisheries as possible and with those who share our dedication to responsibly sourced seafood.”
