Avila confirmed with What Now Los Angeles of the Angry Egret Dinette (pronounced “eegret dine-ette”) opening, which will hopefully occur within the next month or at the end of the year at the latest.

Guerilla Tacos’s authentic LA street food is so popular, Avila wrote a recipe book. Egret Dinette seems to be leaning away from that, however, as its Instagram shows off a photo of a cheesy avocado and egg sandwich. As far as the menu is concerned, Avila and his team are still testing the waters.

“Currently deep cleaning, organizing the new spot and getting ready to menu test this coming week,” Avila said in an Instagram post, displaying Angry Egret Dinette’s new logo, shown below.
