Chicago-based Harold’s Chicken Shack will open sister concept Harold’s Chicken and Bar in Hollywood on Friday, November 22, Eater LA Tuesday first reported.
An Instagram post to the restaurant’s official Los Angeles page confirms the news.
“Hollywood, the chicken king is coming” and “the countdown has begun,” according to the post.
Harold’s Chicken will celebrate with an all-day opening party, at 6523 Hollywood Blvd., commencing with a ribbon-cutting at 3:30 p.m.
There will be an invite-only hosted private tasting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by reservation-service at 8 p.m.
Eater LA is reporting that several “Chicago celebrities” including Kanye West will be in attendance.

Harold’s Chicken Hollywood has been several years in the making. Plans for the restaurant were first announced in 2017.
