Chihuahua Brewing Company Could Bring Taproom To Huntington Beach

Beer brand Chihuahua Cerveza seems poised for an outpost in the 5th and PCH development, per recent license filings.

Beer brand Chihuahua Cerveza has filed for a liquor license in Huntington Beach under Chihuahua Brewing Company, LLC, at 150 5th St, right along the beachfront itself. This popular beer brand is sold locally, but this appears to be for a full-fledged bar.

The Chihuahua Brewing Company bar would be located right next to the Jolyn Flagship Store and is dead center in the 5th and PCH development which is full of shops, restaurants, and is within walking distance of the beach.

This would be Chihuahua Cerveza’s second brick-and-mortar, as a Newport Beach bar called Chihuahua Taproom has been open for some time now. If the bar listed as Chihuahua Brewing Company is anything like Taproom, there will be a sizeable menu of Mexican-inspired dishes, from burritos to tacos to nachos.

The license was filed on September 21 and is currently pending approval, but the Chihuahua Cerveza brand can be picked up at many locations across Los Angeles. Reps for the company on Friday did not immediately respond to a request for comment by What Now Los Angeles.
