A recent filing for a liquor license at 2815 Sunset Boulevard indicates that Owner Heather Tierney will expand the plant-based Mexican restaurant De Buena Planta to Silver Lake. De Buena Planta is the newest concept from the veteran restaurateur behind the delightful and delicious plant-based restaurant The Butcher’s Daughter in Venice with a forthcoming location West Hollywood.
The original De Buena Planta in Venice has lured in locals with its exquisite plant-based Mexican food, fine mezcals, and organic margaritas. De Buena Planta offers a gluten-free menu with highlights such as the Gringa Tacos (impossible asada, shredded cheese and cabbage, pico de gallo, jalapeño crema); the Quesadilla (queso oaxaca, impossible chorizo, salsa quemada,); and tasty appetizers like the classic Elote Mexicana and Ceviche & Chips.
