The shop is designed to feel like a cozy living room and also includes outdoor patio seating, an indoor/outdoor bar area, and a custom-designed acoustically treated seating area. In addition to coffee and grab-and-go options, plans are currently underway to secure a beer and wine license.
Dedo Coffee is partnering with an experienced Southern California roaster and local suppliers to curate a menu that appeals to all coffee lovers – from funky co-fermented single-origin coffees to accessible daily drinkers, espresso, and milk drinks.
Central to the cafe’s concept is its state-of-the-art audio system, utilizing both analog music from an extensive record collection and high-quality digital sources.
One of the most anticipated aspects of Dedo Coffee is its curated listening events. These gatherings might feature dedicated time to a new album release, presentations by ethnomusicologists or jazz historians, or themed evenings celebrating artists like David Byrne and David Bowie. Unlike traditional cafes that host live music or DJs, Dedo Coffee focuses on intentional listening and full album experiences.
