Family-Owned Baby Bros Pizza and Wings to Take Over Cask and Cleaver’s Long-Shuttered Outpost

Baby Bros Pizza & Wings has two new openings on the horizon, according to the restaurant’s website

Baby Bros Pizza & Wings is opening up what will be its fourth location, one that will be in San Dimas, according to a liquor license obtained by What Now Los Angeles (WNLA). At 125 Village Ct, Baby Bros Pizza & Wings will occupy the old Cask & Cleaver space. WNLA also spoke with co-owner Christos Meletis, who gave some details about the San Dimas opening.

“We chose our San Dimas location first of all because it’s a great location and because it has a much bigger square footage compared to our existing restaurants,” Meletis said. “The restaurant will be approximately 6000 sq. ft. which allows us to do more with the location. The restaurant will have seating for up to 200 people and will also include an arcade room and a full bar.”

Cask and Cleaver was a full-service restaurant and bar that closed in the summer of 2017, with the building maintaining a vacancy since then. Prior to Baby Bros Pizza & Wings moving in, interior modifications and renovations will be performed to accommodate the ABC License and the request to add an Arcade, according to a permit request for the city of San Dimas. Meletis said that the family has also landed a location in La Habra. “Our La Habra location will also be open within a couple of months from the opening of the San Dimas location,” he said. “The restaurant will be located on Whittier Blvd. and it’s a great spot since many of our customers live around the area and have to drive the extra mile at the moment to enjoy our food.” Baby Bros Pizza & Wings’ La Habra location will occupy the old Golden Star Chinese Restaurant on Whittier.

Baby Bros Pizza & Wings is looking to open these two locations as soon as they can, considering that COVID delayed the planned openings. “But as soon as they open, the plan is to open up more locations around the surrounding cities before opening more locations out of State.” All of Baby Bros Pizza & Wings’ current locations primarily serve pizza, wings, and its Famous Baby Bros Potatoes. “We have a Beer & Wine License for our customers and families to enjoy watching their favorite sports,” Meletis explained. “We show all sports and pride ourselves in making the highest quality pizza possible for our customers.”
