Founder Bill Disselhorst announced on Instagram that he had sold his beloved restaurant to Linda Grace, the owner of San Marino Cafe. Disselhorst operated the welcoming cafe at 1000 Fremont Avenue with his wife Anne until she died in 2017. Five years later, Disselhorst is ready for a new chapter. The restaurant closed for a few days at the end of last month to give Grace time to transition. Fiore Cafe Market reopened on Sept. 1 under the new ownership.

“Linda has done an amazing job creating and building the San Marino Cafe,” according to a recent Instagram post. “I am so grateful that she is the one to carry on the tradition of Fiore Market Cafe that Anne and I created almost 12 years ago. I would like to thank you all for your love and support over the last 12 years. It’s been an amazing run. I will stay connected to Fiore, and I will see you in the future.”

Linda Grace was unable to be reached by What Now Los Angeles for further details on whether or not she will change, add, or remove anything from the restaurant’s current status. Fiore Market Cafe once provided customers with virtual bread-making classes before Anne’s passing. Hopefully, the new owner will maintain much of what the restaurant has become in the past 12 years, including its weekly live music.
