The company’s newest site appears to be moving into a vacant building not too far from the Van Nuys Airport, according to a recent liquor license application. It’s unclear when the Guatemalan restaurant is expected to open, but this is a massive success for owner Gabriela Sosa, who had to close the company’s second location at 1661 Colorado Boulevard in Eagle Rock following the sale of the land early last year. Garnachas and Beer Restaurant still operates from North Hills at 8755 Parthenia Pl.

When the restaurant’s second location opens, customers can expect the same delicious menu with plenty of appetizers, breakfast options, salads, soups, seafood, and more. Garnachas and Beer Restaurant takes pride in serving a variety of different meat choices, including plenty of pork, beef, and chicken options. The restaurant also has a variety of beer specials, such as the Michelada Del Mar, served with garlic shrimp, cucumbers, and a choice of beer.

Considering how many other businesses are nearby, this will be an excellent location for the company’s new site and will attract foot traffic to the restaurant. In addition to being only a few blocks from the airport, the new Garnachas and Beer Restaurant will be near the busy intersection of Saticoy Street and Balboa Boulevard, where there are many other restaurants and retailers. While it is a busy area, the new restaurant will only have to compete with Del Taco and Tijuana Grill 2 Restaurant.
