Located at 1459 North Citrus Avenue, just off Arrow Highway, the newest location of America’s largest buffet brand is the first in Covina and one of more than 15 in the Golden State. Golden Corral shares a parking lot with Harbor Freight Tools and Superior Grocers.

Formerly a hibachi buffet, the new Golden Corral has been remodeled to feature the company’s updated Gateway design. The spacious building covers 12,500 square feet and has the capacity to host 455 diners. In addition to local guests being treated to its food at an incredible value, the restaurant has brought 200 new jobs to the area, including servers, cooks, hosts, and managers.

“We are blessed to be able to serve an abundance of delicious homemade offerings to the community of Covina,” said franchisee Leon Lin in a statement. “We love this city and plan to stick around for a long time. I look forward to welcoming new friends to the restaurant over the next several weeks.”

On June 4, the restaurant hosted employees and their families for an exclusive lunch and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The City Council, Mayor and City Manager of Covina were also in attendance.

Covina’s new Golden Corral is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
