Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop is Absorbing The Flower Studio Space in Century City

When the restaurant reopens in January it will have gained a wine bar as part of its expansion

Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop has eight locations across the metro area, with three of them currently closed — one of which, the Century City location, is undergoing extensive renovations in order to expand and include a wine bar. To do so, it is absorbing The Flower Studio space next door, at 1888 Century Park E.

What Now Los Angeles spoke with Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop’ Owner Jon Rollo who confirmed that the expansion was happening and that the flower shop space was being taken over. Adam Dalton, General Manager of the Santa Monica location, reached out and elaborated further on these renovations. “We took over the flower shop next door and will be adding a beer and wine bar, new seating, adding seats to the patio in front of the old flower shop, and better organization for take-out and for here,” Dalton told WNLA. “If you been to our location at USC or Venice then you will have the feel of what it will look like inside.”

According to Rollo, the decision to expand was a chance they couldn’t pass up. “We decided to take this opportunity with so many people working from home to give this store much-needed updates after being open for eight years,” he said. The Flower Studio has been closed for over a year, according to Rollo.

In addition to the upcoming wine bar component, Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop is adding an array of specialty cocktails: Seasonal Greenleaf Margarita, Don Juan, Summer Breeze, and Samurai Sour, to name a few. All of these will be available when Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop’s Century City location reopens sometime in January.
