The company’s second location is set to move into a vacant building previously expected to become an expansion site for the existing Sixt USA, but those plans fell through. Now, the space will be transformed by Joshua Pourgol, the owner of Guac Daddy and Tu Madre, according to a recent liquor license application. The successful business owner opened Guac Daddy earlier this year in Los Feliz and is already preparing for a second location. The exact opening date is unknown.

While Pourgol has seen immense success from his first concept, Tu Madre, which is in the process of opening a sixth location in Brentwood, he felt the concept lacked authenticity. Hence, the birth of Guac Daddy. Here, the goal is to be the ultimate destination for authentic Mexican flavors in the Los Angeles area. The restaurant strives to provide a welcoming atmosphere where guests can immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Mexico while enjoying delicious food made with care and passion. Customers can expect a diverse menu of tacos, burritos, aguas frescas, salsas, and the restaurant’s signature guacamole.

“At Guac Daddy, we’re passionate about crafting mouthwatering tacos, burritos, and more, using only the freshest ingredients and time-honored recipes,” according to the company’s website. “Whether you’re craving juicy carne asada, tender al pastor, or flavorful vegetarian options, our menu has something for everyone. But it’s not just about the food – it’s about the experience. Step up to our walk-up counter and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and aromas of a bustling Mexican marketplace. Sip on refreshing aguas frescas, savor our signature salsas, and indulge in creamy, homemade guacamole that’s guaranteed to elevate every bite.”
