Hank’s Organic to Open in the Arts District

The new market will bring organic produce to Downtown L.A.

A family-owed produce market, Hank’s Organic, is slated to open in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. The store also has applied for a liquor license covering the sale of beer and wine at an eating place, suggesting it may have a restaurant or cafe on the premises, according to documents filed Aug. 11.

Hank’s will open at the former location of grocery store and eatery Urban Radish at 661 Imperial Street, the filings say. Urban Radish closed in March.

Besides the bio of its Instagram page, details about Hank’s are scant so far. The licensee on the liquor license application is Mirr Holding Group Inc., of which Manuel Reynoso is listed as director.

What Now Los Angeles has reached out to Reynoso and Hank’s for comment.
