Kevin Hart’s new 2,532-square-foot plant-based restaurant is expected to open in early November 2022, according to a press release sent to What Now Los Angeles. The space will include a 372 square-foot exterior that can seat ten guests, while 30 can sit inside. This is just the beginning for Hart House, which has many more locations in the works across Southern California, with a new site planned for Hollywood. The new QSR chain restaurant plans to open at least 10 locations over the next year.

Hart House made its debut in August and quickly gained the attention of Los Angeles residents and celebrities alike. On the first day of service, Hart House sold over 1,200 meals. The first week saw over 7,000 guests, with celebrities like Lil Baby, Brody Jenner, Boris Kodjoe, and Nicole Ari Parker making an appearance. The new Monrovia location is expected to attract even more people interested in trying out the company’s delicious plant-based food, which includes burgers, chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and more. Hart House’s newest location will replace Smashburger in the Huntington Oaks Center Shopping Center.

“We are committed to more than just fast food,” according to the company’s website. “We’re here to disrupt quick service with an affordable, delicious, plant-based alternative made with respect for people, animals, and our ecosystem. From how we source to how we serve, sustainability is tied into every element of our brand. Responsibly sourcing ingredients and using less energy in our operations are just a few of the ways we lower our environmental impact.”
