The Manhattan Beach location is scheduled to open by the end of the year. Although the third location has been announced on their website, their fourth location in Santa Monica has not, and is expected to open sometime in early 2022. Owner Steve Choi has signed a 10-year lease agreement for the 1,600 square-foot space. It is unknown what the newest healthy-alternative restaurant will replace, but the shop will sit at the ground level of Lincoln SM Apartments.

Health Nut prides itself on using the freshest produce delivered to the store every day. They don’t use any oil, butter, or fat to cook their chicken and offer world-famous dressings. For those who want to take their love of greens to the next level, Health Nut also provides various vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Other than salads, the restaurant also offers wraps, sandwiches, and drinks, such as their famous mango iced greentini.

“Health Nut has served healthy and delicious meals to so many loyal customers since our humble beginnings in 1988,” according to their website. “Being a family-owned business starting off primarily as a vitamin store, we have evolved exclusively into a restaurant and are now privileged to be opening our third location in Manhattan Beach in 2021!”

CORRECTION: The previous article misstated the Manhattan Beach location was going to be 2,000 square feet. The restaurant will actually sit in a 1,600 square-foot space.
