The company, owned by Nir Giat, currently has 13 locations, with four in Los Angeles County. According to the company’s website, Hummus Republic currently has a location in Huntington Beach under construction, located at 7821 Edinger Ave. Ste 128. Additionally, the company has another 13 locations coming to California, with new sites coming to DTLA, Los Angeles, Rancho Cucamonga, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and Orange County. Hummus Republic also has new locations coming to Arizona, Texas, New Jersey, and Virginia.

Other than the upcoming Huntington Beach location, the exact location and opening dates of these sites are unknown. Once these locations are open, Hummus Republic will go from 13 locations to over 40 throughout the country. This is a massive accomplishment for a company that started less than a decade ago. Many of these new locations will likely be operated under local franchisees, but it is unknown which locations will be franchised.

When these new locations open, whether this year or next, guests can expect to build their own meals with wrap, pita, and bowl options. This is done by choosing a base, a spread, a protein, and unlimited toppings. The company takes pride in serving flavorful, convenient, and primarily plant-based meals to the masses; and to create accessibility to healthy, real food. On top of that, Hummus Republic takes every opportunity to be as responsible as possible through its practices.

“Hummus Republic is committed to transparency, customers deserve to know where their food comes from and what goes into it,” according to the company’s website. “We choose farms over factories and organic wherever possible to not only make healthy food more accessible; but to protect the health of the planet. We use compostable take-out containers, cups, and cutlery.”
