After 14 years in business, Woodspoon Chef and Owner Natalia Pereira is exploring either selling the “iconic” DTLA Brazillian restaurant or taking on a majority investor.

There are two “scenarios” the owners are considering, according to materials obtained Wednesday by What Now Los Angeles outlining the investment opportunity.
Woodspoon could be completely acquired in a “full buyout scenario,” giving a new owner full control of the restaurant.
The purchase price is negotiable.
An “investment scenario” would include a “majority ownership” and “future expansion rights.”
The 1,100-square-foot mainstay since 2006, at 107 W. 9th St., currently has a five-year lease term with the option for a five-year renewal.
It should be noted that the “rustic Brazilian kitchen inspired by the African, European, and Indian influences specific to the region of Minas Gerais, Brazil” is “not closed and will not be closing.”
