The new 3,885 square-foot fast food restaurant will feature parking for 43 vehicles and a drive-through lane for 30 cars, according to a recent case filing submitted to the Los Angeles Planning Department. The beloved burger chain will replace two existing commercial buildings, one of which being Racing Tires, sometime towards the end of the year, potentially early 2023. The restaurant’s proposed hours will start at 10:30 every day while closing at 1 am from Sunday to Thursday and at 1:30 am on Friday and Saturday.

California is covered with In–Out Burgers, having dozens in Los Angeles County. Although more and more locations seem to pop up throughout the city, including a new site coming to Van Nuys, this will be the first In-N-Out in Sylmar. The next closest locations are in San Fernando and Santa Clarita. Recently, the company announced they are planning to open the first location in Idaho, with rumors of an expansion to Florida swirling since last year.

When the new location does open, pending final approval from the city early next month, customers can expect the same layout and menu that made the restaurant famous in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, and Oregon. For those who have never had the opportunity to try this fantastic burger restaurant, their menu is pretty simple. You can order a hamburger, cheeseburger, or double cheeseburger, with french fries and a drink. The restaurant also offers milkshakes and other menu hacks, such as animal-style fries, where they take a batch of their french fries and add a layer of their signature sauce and diced onions on top.
