Two restaurants will sit within the new 305-room Conrad Los Angeles Hotel within The Grand LA, which is set to open in Spring 2022. Both restaurants will sit on the 10th floor and are expected to shortly after the opening of the new hotel. The third restaurant, Bazaar Meat, will open as a stand-alone restaurant on the sixth floor of The Grand LA, bringing the wild and wonderful celebration of the carnivorous to Los Angeles for the first time. The Grand L.A. is a new retail, residence, and hotel development designed by Frank Gehry.

Both of the new unnamed 10th floor restaurants will offer a taste of a different country. The first restaurant will be an open-air, rooftop dining area with a Latin- and Asian-inspired menu. The restaurant will also have a dedicated pool-side menu designed for light and leisurely snacking and sharing.

The second original concept restaurant will be dedicated to classic Spanish flavors and dishes with California’s vibrant, farm-fresh ingredients. Adjacent will be a dedicated lobby bar designed to celebrate the spirit of the desert and the Pacific Ocean. The bar will showcase popular spirits and flavors from the west coast: agave, sours, spicy, and tropical. Seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables will be incorporated with a hint of Spanish influence.

Later in the year, Andrés will open Bazaar Meat, reviving the original Bazaar restaurant that opened in Los Angeles in 2008. The first Bazaar Meat opened in Las Vegas in 2014, followed by the most recent location in Chicago, which opened in 2021.

“I love Los Angeles! It is where we debuted The Bazaar years ago, and since then, we’ve evolved with many new stories to share through food,” said Andrés in a press release. “This city welcomed me so warmly when we first opened, and I can’t wait to return to give Angelenos and the world an exciting new destination for dining in Downtown LA.”

CORRECTION: The previous article misstated the new address ad 333 S. Figueroa St. The correct address is 100 S Grand Ave.
