KYU, the Asian-inspired wood-fired concept, will make its California debut in Century Plaza late next year.
Co-founded by Jordan Sayfie and Alan Omsky, the L.A. outpost is situated in the heart of the transformative six-acre development overlooking the plaza’s central fountain. While KYU’s L.A. menu has yet to be revealed, the other locations feature dishes like pork belly baos, duck burnt ends, pandan salmon crudo, fire roasted branzino and more. The dessert menu is quite a feat as well, especially KYU’s famed Mom’s Coconut Cake – hopefully L.A. will get a taste.
“Ever since we first opened KYU in Miami in 2016, Los Angeles has always been on our wish list, and it’s a dream come true now that we have found our perfect new home in Century Plaza,” Sayfie said in a release.
KYU recently launched inside of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas and also has restaurants in New York City, Mexico City and its flagship location in Miami.
