This will be the second Los Angeles location for the Dallas-based company, following its first West Coast location in Santa Monica. The new location at The Grove is expected to open in late Summer or Fall 2022, along with Japanese specialty coffee brand % Arabica, making its Los Angeles debut. When La La Land Kind Cafe opens, customers can expect delicious coffee and treats within a bright and welcoming space where guests can walk in and feel a true sense of joy.

The company’s goal is to prove that a business can be kind, give back to the community and serve high-quality products. The socially conscious cafe prioritizes kindness, honest ingredients, and altruism above all else. This comes as a result of the founder Francois Reihani learning about the staggering statistics of what happens to foster youth who age out of the system. As a result, he launched the We Are One project in 2017 to provide the right tools for businesses to come together and employ foster youth.

“We believe that success is measured on the positive impact we make on society, not just how much money we make,” according to the company’s website. “To create a business model that encompasses everything we wish to see from businesses today. We traveled around the world on a quest to learn about and procure the highest quality organic ingredients so that we could serve and inspire our communities. To set an example and show the world that we can all be doing our part.”

This thoughtfulness poured over into La La Land Kind Cafe. The company takes pride in creating a better world, as well as serving delicious coffee. A few of their values include using honest ingredients, being transparent about what’s going in each cup and how it’s made, educating through shared knowledge, sustainability, awareness, and, most importantly, lending a hand and helping those in need. All of this creates a coffee shop that is pure to the world and its customers.
