This will be the fifth establishment by the Los Angeles-based group, expected to open at an unknown time. The group also owns and operates Same Same Thai in Silverlake, Found Oyster in East Hollywood, and Red Dog Saloon in Pioneer Town. LWH, founded by Adam Weisblatt and Holly Fox, also has a new restaurant called Overboard coming to Eagle Rock at an unknown time. Barra Santos will likely be a bar, considering the name translates to Saint’s Bar.

The new business will move into the former home of Master A1 Upholstery. Other than that, not much information is known about Barra Santos. If this is a bar, this location will be a perfect opportunity, considering there are only two other bars along Cypress Avenue: Infinity Karaoke Plus and Permanent Records Roadhouse. Despite the lack of bars, the area is home to several restaurants and eateries, including King Taco, Big Ant’s BBQ, and two Restaurante Tierre Calientes.

“Founded with an empty bank account by Adam Weisblatt and Holly Fox in 2014, Last Word Hospitality has since established itself as one of the nation’s most creative, scrappiest, and versatile hospitality consulting, design, and management groups,” according to the group’s website. “Lwh has provided consulting and design services for an elite group of hotel, bar, and restaurant groups, and maintains an ever-expanding group of hospitality professionals to collaborate with on future projects. Our passion for this industry runs deep.”
