Los Angeles this weekend will see the pizzeria from the Christmas flick Home Alone — Little Nero’s Pizza — pop-up in the San Fernando Valley. The pop-up is a collaboration between Joe Nicchi, the owner of the CVT Soft Serve ice cream truck and LBK Pizza, with Designer Jesse Wilson tasked with bringing Little Nero’s Pizza to life.

“Dearest Filthy Animals,” Nicchi wrote in an Instagram announcement for the pop-up Wednesday. “With Covid bringing holiday travel to a standstill, I think it’s safe to say that we’re all “Home Alone” this year. Sounds kinda [expletive] I know, but fear not my friends cause sometimes just like Kevin McCallister, keeping your family away while you indulge in pizza and ice cream isn’t always a bad thing.”
Little Nero’s Pizza Los Angeles will operate out of LBK Pizza’s Studio City space, at 4359 Tujunga Avenue, for “lovely cheese pizza just for you.” But Nicchi warns patrons should “be on the lookout for the Wet Bandits and Buzz’s girlfriend cause I’ve heard they’re anti-maskers.”
From Friday, December 18 through Sunday, December 20, “you can step into 1990 suburban Chicago without having to deal with the negative 15-degree wind chill” and “come grab a pizza in a beautiful souvenir box that you don’t have to share with your douchebag older brother…That guy sucks!”
Here’s a clip from Home Alone if you’re having trouble placing Little Nero’s:
