The new 3,652 square-foot restaurant will open in a newly built area within the Bixby Knolls Center. This is the latest location coming to Los Angeles, following a spot in Van Nuys and Northridge, despite not being listed on the company’s website. The new location is expected to open around April 2022, according to franchisee Lewis Khashan. The company started in San Diego in 1982 as Wings N’ Thing and was renamed in 2018. The micro chain currently has 28 locations in California and Arizona.

Epic Wings recently signed a 39 store franchise agreement with an experienced multi-unit franchisee with plans to open locations in LA County, Dallas, Houston, and Las Vegas. The company plans to increase its footprint significantly over the next several years with the addition of 100 locations. Franchisees Kevin Davis of Van Nuys and Ken Kupetsky of Northridge have been the leaders in expanding Epic Wings into Los Angeles County, with the latter being first.

“The experience and knowledge that Kevin and the Phenomenal Wings Team is bringing to Epic Wings are immeasurable,” said Rob Streett, President of Epic Wings, in a press release. “This level of experience and support will allow us to grow in these targeted markets. Kevin’s expertise and depth of multi-unit development will provide Epic Wings with a significant advantage as we expand our national footprint.”
