The new 1,528 square-foot coffee shop will have 52 indoor seats, according to a case filing for the restaurant submitted to the City of Los Angeles. Owner Isaac Anzaruth tells What Now Los Angeles he hopes to open the newly rebranded coffee shop, formerly named Baristi USA, in January 2022. The cafe will be open every day at 6 am and will stay open until 11 pm on Monday through Saturday and 5 pm on Sundays. This brand new coffee shop will move into the ground floor of The Fairfax Apartments.

Anzaruth has many plans for this space once it opens. Besides the standard coffee that will wake everyone up, the cafe will also be used as a wine bar in the evening. The cafe will feature several rotating aspects to its operations, including a special wine selection that changes every week or two. As for food, the cafe will offer vegetable and Pescadero-orientated dishes for its customers. Anzaruth hopes to create a community-based hot spot where people can enjoy some friendly food and specialty wines.

“Everything will be very clean and very organic, including the wines,” Anzaruth told What Now Los Angeles. “We will have local artists provide art on the wall so they can have a space to sell or get their name out. We will also have menus every few months with local Los Angeles chefs who will provide a menu for themselves to showcase their dishes. It’s something where people can explore different types of food and wines.”
