The incoming Mariscos Sol Y Mar will open at 8335 Rosecrans Ave Paramount, CA 90723 — formerly home to Los Cheros Pupuseria #2 and Chef Rocío Camacho’s La Diosa de Los Moles — according to a liquor license filed with The State of California.

Mariscos Sol y Mar currently has three locations — Bell Gardens, Lynwood, and Paramount.

It’s unclear if the incoming outpost will be the eatery’s fourth location or if Owner Jose Valdez is merely moving his Paramount outpost to a new address, though the latter is likely as the two buildings are only a four-minute drive from each other.

What’s more, the new building appears much larger than the original, suggesting perhaps Valdez requires more room for the operation.

Mariscos Sol y Mar operates under the parent company Los Cuates Mexican Grill, Inc., and appears to provide a shrimp-heavy seafood-based menu.

Additional specifics are scarce as the company’s website is still under construction.

However, Yelp confirms that the establishment’s most popular dishes are fish tacos, aguachiles (raw shrimped cooked with citrus), and shrimp tacos, and the company’s social media is loaded with delicious photos of plump, perfectly-cooked seafood.

What Now Los Angeles attempted to obtain additional information from Valdez, but remained unsuccessful.
