This is the latest confirmed tenant for the $150 million redevelopment replacing the old Ports O’ Call Village. The company’s ninth location will become the first in Los Angeles County, with the following closest locations being in Irvine and Del Mar. Other restaurants included in this new 42 Acre site include Mike Hess Brewery, Yamashiro, Poppy + Rose, Pitfire Pizza, The Win-dow Burgers, Jay Bird’s Chicken, and more. All of this will likely open sometime in 2024, with the development breaking ground in Summer 2022.

Marufuku Ramen, owned by German Fabregas, proudly serves the delicious Hakata-style Tonkotsu ramen. This style of ramen features milky and umami-rich broth made from boiling pork bones for long hours and ultra-thin artisanal noodles that match perfectly with the broth. Other menu items include mini-sized rice bowls, izakaya-style appetizers, premium beer, and sake.

“Opening of the first phase, we call building 1A, will be early 2024,” said Eric Johnson, President of Jerico Development. “After that, we’ll follow with building 1b eight to nine months later, and after that, North Park will finish out. So, it’s probably about two and a half years total before we’re all the way through the North Park part of the site.”
