Mi Burrito Mexican Grill is Bringing Classic Mexican Food to Redondo Beach

Construction is well underway in converting The Bottle Inn Riviera into what will be Mi Burrito's third SoCal spot.

Mi Burrito, a highly-rated Mexican restaurant conceived in Whittier, is branching out and opening up a third location — this time in Redondo Beach. The restaurant will occupy the space at 1700 S Catalina Ave Suite 101, according to a recent liquor license application. Reps for the restaurant confirmed the news with What Now Los Angeles and signage is already up at the space.

The location was previously The Bottle Inn Riviera, a now-shuttered drinking spot and entertainment venue. Last month, Mi Burrito posted a video to its Facebook page, giving a very brief walk-through of its new home. Based on the video, it seems construction is well underway.

The family-owned Mi Burrito offers very traditional Mexican food cooked up by the owners themselves — the Saldanas. A kid’s menu and breakfast options — which offers different takes on the staple huevos ranchero — are also available. The Redondo Beach location joins existing outposts at 11321 183rd Street in Cerritos and 15856 Whittier Blvd in Whittier.
