The company’s third site will replace Lotus Asian Cuisine and Bar in early 2025, according to signage on the building first reported by Toddrickallen. Customers can expect expert chefs to use the freshest ingredients to craft traditional and innovative sushi, much like its locations in West Covina and Monrovia. Mikomi Sushi will serve a variety of sushi, sashimi, and rolls to Downtown Santa Monica, continuing its mission to “provide food made with quality ingredients and equally quality service.”

Lotus Dim Sum Dumpling closed its location on the corner of Wilshire and 4th at the beginning of the year. The space was the longtime home of P.F. Changes before it disappeared in 2021. Now, Mikomi Sushi will fill the space, offering a warm atmosphere and exceptional flavors for a memorable dining experience. In addition to an expansive menu, Mikomi Sushi offers a happy hour menu from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Mikomi Sushi offers a handful of appetizers, such as edamame, egg rolls, popcorn scallops, and more, as well as some small sushi options. The restaurant offers classic, vegetable, baked, tempura, and special rolls for larger rolls. As for entrees, Mikomi Sushi offers beef, chicken, salmon teriyaki, chicken katsu, Chilean sea bass miso yaki, spicy chicken, beef BBQ short rib, and a lot more. The restaurant also has small bite specials and noodle options. These are all expected to be on the menu at the company’s new Santa Monica location.
