Nay’s Tacos Takes Major Step Toward Opening in Inglewood

After acquiring the space a year ago, Owner Naleisha Webb on Friday finally started construction

Nay’s Tacos, a food truck and catering operation run by Naleisha Webb, is opening up its first official brick-and-mortar location on 307 E Hillcrest Blvd in Inglewood in the old Aunt Emma’s Popcorn space. The project has been going on for a year, but Nay’s Tacos posted an update on Instagram Friday about the one-year anniversary of when the space was first acquired, promising that a soft opening is “coming real soon.” Webb confirmed this with What Now Los Angeles (WNLA) on Friday, as well.

Webb said that this year-long delay has kept her incredibly busy as she tried to maneuver things around the COVID pandemic. All her efforts weren’t enough to stop the virus from stretching these renovations out. The new location will serve the menu found in its food truck operation with the addition of alcohol.

Nay’s Tacos houses its headquarters at 6649 Crenshaw Blvd, in Hyde Park where Webb also plans on opening a currently unnamed salon. Webb has been catering for about a decade, while Nay’s Tacos has been officially up and running for five.
