The new restaurant will soon come to Montebello and Long Beach, as well as Corona and Buena Park, according to owner Erika De La Teja. She tells What Now Los Angeles she plans to open the restaurants in December or January 2023 and is currently waiting to finalize the liquor license and lease negotiations. Teja, who was behind the opening of Mr. Tempo’s Mar Chingon, is quickly launching several new restaurants throughout the area. She is also opening Flipping Byrds and Mas Chingon Tacos, both in South Gate.

The upcoming brunch restaurant isn’t the only micro chain Teja is working on. Around the same time as the opening of Con Huevos, she plans to open a new juice/ cafe called Wellness Bar in Downey and Whittier. The new Con Huevos restaurant will feature a juice bar so customers can order even more delicious drinks in the late morning/ early afternoon. It doesn’t appear the two new businesses will coincide with each other.

“Con Huevos [will feature a] brunch/breakfast menu with a Latin spin, alongside a juice bar,” Teja tells What Now Los Angeles. “So you’ll have the best of both worlds for different options. A healthy green juice or protein shake next to a mimosa and soufflé horchata pancakes. “
