In a liquor license filed with the state, the brewery has plans to open a small beer manufacturer in Westminster.
Company Founder Simon Lacey opened the brewery to focus on classic English and American beer styles in 2007 and has brewed standout beers across a spectrum of styles, according to a profile in SD Voyager. Some of the brewery’s most popular beers are currently Pure & Simple IPA, Zumbar Chocolate Coffee Imperial Stout, and Brewers Special Brown Ale.

Opening near the Westminster Mall, New English Brewing Company will have great freeway access as the independently-owned brewery will be expanding beyond its 10,000-square-foot facility in San Diego.
