The new Italian restaurant is set to move into the former home of Nic’s on Beverly, a restaurant from Nic Adler, the founder of Monty’s Good Burger, which closed last year. Now, the space will be transformed into Antica Osteria, the latest concept from Francesco Zimone, the CEO of L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, the renowned Naples restaurant found in Hollywood, New York City, Santa Barbara, and most recently, Belmont Shores. It’s unclear when the businessman plans to open this new concept.

Antica Osteria is a part of Zimone’s Branded Integrations and Hospitality Group. Although the specific details regarding what will be served at this restaurant have yet to be shared, it’s expected that there will be top-tier Italian dishes that Zimone has learned throughout his life and career. There will also be plenty of wine, cocktails, and other drinks, according to a recent liquor license application. If it is anything like L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, residents of Beverly Grove have a lot to be excited about.

“Born in Napoli, Italy, Francesco’s journey from a junior hedge funds administrator to a celebrated restaurateur highlights his exceptional leadership and dedication,” according to L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele’s website. “He designed Antica Hollywood to provide guests with an experience that is both transcendent and real, emphasizing the magic of authentic dining. Francesco believes true happiness comes from within and values authenticity and personal growth.”
