This will become the third location within Los Angeles, following a site in South Gate. Nguyen’s Kitchen has locations in Orange, Chino, and Costa Mesa, with Carson and Santa Ana in the works. Co-owner Aiden Nguyen wasn’t able to provide an address due to construction nor an opening date due to COVID-19. What is known is the restaurant will sit near other upcoming restaurants coming to the area, including Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, California Fish Grill, and One Zo Boba.

Nguyen’s Kitchen takes pride in using simple, fresh food without artificial flavors or fillers. Once the new restaurant opens, customers will have to choose from their signature sandwiches, specialty entrees, rice bowls, and other classics such as popcorn chicken. Some popular dishes from the restaurant include garlic noodles, cajun garlic fries, and a bulgogi short rib steak sandwich.

The new restaurant comes in part with the 75-acre redevelopment of The Groves. On top of the several restaurants and retailers coming to the area, The Groves already accommodates hundreds of people with their 561 homes for sale and 189 apartments for rent. Later next summer, The Groves will open a Heritage Court, including Rodeo 72 food hall with a brewery, multiple small restaurants, a lounge, tattoo shop, and arcade.
