Noodle Street’s Hand-Pulled Noodles Coming Soon To Arcadia, Pasadena

While the Arcadia opening is up in the air, the Pasadena location will open as soon as September.

Noodle Street’s first restaurant opened in 2017, and since then it has expanded to Fullerton and Monrovia, California. Soon, the restaurant will add locations to the Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia, at 400 S Baldwin Avenue, and in Pasadena, at 87 E Colorado Boulevard, replacing A’Float Sushi which closed its doors in early-2020.

What Now Los Angeles spoke with Owner Guang Zhao who said that she hopes for a September debut in Pasadena. Concerning the location at Santa Anita Mall, it will depend on when the mall fully reopens the interior, which is still up in the air, according to a source at the Santa Anita Mall.

While the interior of the mall is closed, the “essential stores,” outdoor dining, and retailers with outside entrances are still open, according to a post on the mall’s Instagram feed. Zhao said that she chose the locations because the mall gets a lot of foot traffic and Pasadena has “a lot of history … and it’s great for us to bring something different.” There are additional plans to open new stores in Orange County, though no leases have been finalized just yet.

The menu at Noodle Street encompasses hand-pulled noodles, scallion pancakes, steamed buns and dumplings, and rice dishes. “Our goal is to bring something unique, healthier, and a fun dining environment to customers,” Zhao said.
