The fast-growing chicken restaurant continues to grow following the opening of its latest California location in Downey. Now, owner Eun Joo Cho is getting ready to open in Sanford, located at 621 S Western Ave Suite 116-117, and in City of Industry, located at 18508 E. Gale Ave Suite B, the latter replacing hot pot restaurant Xu Garden next to Slurpin’ Ramen Bar. This will be the company’s sixth and seventh location in California, with new sites coming to San Diego and Irvine.

Pelicana Chicken, established in 1982 from Daejeon, South Korea, landed in the United States in 2014 and has since expanded to over 2000 locations worldwide. After celebrating its 4o year anniversary this year, the company has become one of the largest food franchises in Korea, with an international presence in China, Australia, Mongolia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Canada. In the United States, the company has locations in New York, Georgia, New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

Pelicana Chicken takes pride in serving a variety of delicious sauces, chicken selections, and fresh ingredients. The menu is simple yet packed with flavor, ranging from sides, meals, chicken sandwiches, whole chicken, fried boneless chicken, and wings. To get a taste of everything, the restaurant offers combos that give customers a chance to try both an entree and a side.
