With several more locations throughout the state, the family-owned business offers classic pizzas, like pepperoni and BBQ chicken, customizable options and curry pizza like the chicken Tikka pizza.

Already popular in Fresno, the fusion food eatery has locations in Clovis, Walnut and Tulare with plans to add more.

“Los Angeles is a great market but it’s always New York and Chicago that are known for their pizza,” Owner Virender Singh said.

He’s trying to elevate the Los Angeles pizza scene with his fresh and spicy pizza. Curry Pizza uses the freshest ingredients and high quality spices for its fast-casual curry flavored food.  “We are known for our pizza toppings… we don’t weigh them,” he explained. “We put like 80 to 90 pepperonis on our pepperoni pizzas. Our pizzas are loaded.”

Moving into a 1,183 square foot space in Suite 106 of the Glendora Plaza, Curry Pizza will be headed to 630 S. Grand Ave.

With expansion plans across the state, Singh admitted their only concern is moving too fast too quickly.

“We don’t want to grow too fast and lose quality,” he said. “What we want to do is to make sure that everything will stay fresh.”

The Curry Pizza Company also opened a new location at 2091 E. Bardsley Ave. in Tulare this month to tremendous success.

“It was so packed the Fresno store had to help out,” Singh said. “We ran out of dough and cheese by 6:30 and had to close early.”

Taking over a former burger restaurant, he expected it to be several months before they could open the Glendora location.

“We have to do some basic stuff like get the oven in,” Singh added.
