All three Popeyes will be owned and operated by International Restaurant Management Group, which also franchises Yeung’s Lotus Express, Kelly’s Cajun Grill, Suki Hana, Burger King, and Wok-a-Holic. The first location to open is in Westfield Valencia, opening on September 26, 2022, President Tony Napoliello tells What Now Los Angeles. Then the company will open in Westfield Culver City at the end of January 2023. Finally, the company will open in Glendale Galleria around Summer 2023.

When these locations open, customers can expect the same mouth-watering crunch and juicy fried chicken that has made the national chain one of the most respected chicken restaurants in the country. Unlike any other location, the Popeyes coming to the Glendale Galleria will be one of the first locations in the nation that will sell beer.

The new beer program proves the company, founded in 1972 by Al Copeland, continues to push the boundaries for chicken chain restaurants. Another new development for the company is the ability to order food on Twitch. Customers can use chat commands on the Popeyes stream’s chat that will redirect your browser to the Popeyes website for further instruction. What started as a restaurant named Popeyes Mighty Good Chicken is now one of KFC’s largest competitors, with over 5,000 locations and still growing.
