The new restaurant will move into the former home of Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana sometime in May 2022, according to owner Jordan Otterbein. He and  Joseph Nichol own several other Southern California restaurants under the restaurant group, including A Restaurant, A Market, and CdM Restaurant, all in Orange County. The group is also planning to open A PCH and A Sunset, the latter being in Los Angeles, but limited information has been revealed about either business.

What is known is that the new A Crystal Cove will feature executive chef Elvis Morales at the helms of the kitchen. According to Eater LA, guests can expect about 200 seats within the restaurant and a menu that pulls from the menus of A Restaurant and CdM Restaurant. In other words, A Crystal Cove will feature high-end seafood and poultry options such as Scottish salmon, chicken piccata, Akaushi skirt steak, Japanese A5 Miyazaki beef, and Maine diver scallops. It’s unknown what kind of food will be served at A PCH and A Sunset.

“We absolutely must have the best culinary experience, but we want to do that in a way that’s very comfortable and approachable,” according to Nichol. “RJRG is guided by the principle of prioritizing employees, properly training them for excellence, and giving them an opportunity to grow and prosper, which has shaped the company’s culture of hospitality.”
